DWG

DWG (“drawing format”) is a binary file format licensed by Autodesk and used for storing two and limited three-dimensional design data and metadata. It is the native format for several CAD packages, primarily AutoCAD™. In addition, DWG is supported non-natively by many other CAD applications.1
